The purpose of this research is to examine how pastoral hope relates to church flourishing and church vitality within churches in the South Pacific District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. This phase of the study is designed to gather survey data from lead pastors serving within the district.
Participants must be a lead or solo pastor serving within churches affiliated with the South Pacific District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance who has served in their current role for at least one year.
Participants will be asked to complete a confidential online survey. The survey includes brief items related to goal-directed thinking and personal outlook in ministry. The survey will take approximately 3–5 minutes to complete.
Names, contact information, and church affiliation will be requested for eligibility confirmation and for linking survey responses to church-level data used in the study. However, participant identities will not be disclosed in any report, presentation, or publication.
