2 Samuel 3:18 – For the Lord has spoken of David, saying, ‘By the hand of My servant David, I will save My people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and the hand of all their enemies.
David was arguably one of the greatest warriors mentioned in the Bible. As a boy he fought and killed both lions and bears. As a teenager, he fought and killed Goliath. As a young man, he fought and won countless battles. As a grown adult and king, He fought and subdued entire nations. David is a great picture that points us to the ultimate Savior that Jesus is and how He delivers us from all our enemies.
Romans 8:37-39 tells us, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Whatever battle you may face today, be assured that nothing will separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus!
